Insource continues to grow with new wins and new starters. Expanding the Insource presence, Mari-Anne Syme and Steven Cobb join the sales team to cover Scotland and the North West respectively. With over 30 years’ experience in nursing and the NHS marketplace Mari-Anne joins at a very opportune time for Insource in Scotland – just prior to a major Cancer announcement. As an experienced NHS healthcare professional and NHS manager, Mari-Anne brings a wealth of first-hand NHS understanding as well as commercial business acumen and account management expertise to help drive the digital agenda across Scotland. Having worked in a wide range of innovative environments from telehealth clinics, home monitoring solutions and digital health implementations her digital expertise and trusted advisor status will help grow Insource into an NHS household name.
Working previously in partnership with NHS Scotland, NHS England and the Health and Social Care organisations of Northern Ireland, she sees the Insource data management portfolio to be the right products at exactly the right time to help build the NHS Scotland data foundation essential for integrated care. She aims to get this message to the market and maximise the NHS Scotland mantra of ‘Once for Scotland’.
Steven Cobb joins us in the North West with over 10 years healthcare sales expertise, both national and international, working alongside Acute Trusts, CCGs, GPs, Care Homes and Home Care environments to deliver digital solutions that enable integrated care and improve patient outcomes. With an in-depth understand of BI and analytics, Steven sees the absolute importance of getting people to understand the content of, and extract the value from, their copious amounts of data so that healthcare teams can focus on delivering care rather than time-consuming, manual admin tasks.
Insource enables the collection, evidence-based validation and consolidation of vast volumes of disparate data across a Trust, or cross-boundary enterprise, into a single, unified source of accurate data for informed decision making. Whereas most suppliers focus solely on integrating clinical data, Insource ensures the patient process and disparate admin data is fully integrated against NHS data dictionary formats to progress, track and report on care across the Trust and out to the wider community.
Data standardisation and the need to automate disparate data sources and data flows is a critical foundation for an interoperable NHS. With this exciting series of products, Steven is looking forward to helping Trusts put the patient first, by building consolidated data implementations that automate outdated processes and save the NHS time and money and make a difference to frontline care.
