As part of a new Elective Care Business Strategy, Insource has created a new business, Himatix Health.

Himatix will add to the already very successful Patient Pathway Plus software developed and implemented by Insource and provide our clients with valuable additional services such as PTL Audits, Data Quality Assurance, and Waiting Time Validation services.

The overall Elective Care Business Unit already supplies contracted solutions to over 20 NHS trusts and Private Healthcare organisations in England, Scotland and Wales. The unit is already operating and deploying Insource’s world leading data automation technologies, providing best in class cost reduction solutions, with proven ROI results in all deployments.

About Himatix Health

The focus of the combined services is to provide comprehensive patient pathways’ performance management, advanced clinical coding, SOPS, onsite and online training, and PTL audits delivered either onsite or through remote N3 connection.

Himatix will use the cutting-edge data management technology provided by Insource, to clean and prepare data into a Unified Data Layer, which can then effortlessly produce automated and reliable reports for analysis. Leveraging this, Himatix can then transform each Trust’s performance and patient care.

Jim Plunkett who heads up Himatix, has over 25 years’ experience in healthcare data management “I am excited to be part of the Insource Elective Care Strategy providing the Data Quality and Validation services to our trusts and hospitals clients across the UK. Insource has provided us with its cutting-edge technology which is invaluable in our mission to make healthcare safer today. It allows us to provide tailored solutions to our clients, with added value insights from data and observations.”

The Result for Healthcare Trusts and Private Healthcare Organisations

The combination of these new services and solutions from Himatix will provide healthcare organisations with a more targeted long term cost effective approach to performance and data quality. With ever increasing demands on hospital waiting lists, and strict scrutiny from the government to improve and provide auditable data to demonstrate progress, measurable improvement will be a key focus for all healthcare establishments in 2019 and beyond.

Steve Aitken, Insource CEO said of the new Business Unit, “As we move ever more towards Managed Service-style partnerships with clients, Himatix Health is a perfect fit into the Insource Group, providing solutions at the early stage of client projects, before moving on to automated outputs and reporting.”
